Drag Yapless.app into Applications.
The .dmg opens to a window with Yapless on the left and your Applications folder on the right. Drag, drop, done.

Grant the permissions on first launch.
macOS prompts for Screen Recording, Microphone, and (optional) Camera + Accessibility. All three drive features you'll want — give them once and you're set.

Sign in to link the app to your workspace.
Use the same account as the dashboard. The Mac app pulls your voice clone + brand settings down automatically.

Record.
Hit ⌘ ⇧ R from anywhere to start a recording. Walk away when you stop — the polish runs on its own.
Auto-updates
Yapless updates itself via Sparkle. EdDSA-signed binaries, fetched from a public release feed — no App Store wait, no manual re-download.
Notarized + signed
Signed with our Apple Developer ID, notarized by Apple, stapled offline. Gatekeeper opens it on the first double-click without a security dialog.
Distributed direct
We don't ship via the Mac App Store — its screen-recording entitlements are too restrictive for what we do.
