Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Yapless. If the product isn't working for you, we'd rather refund you than keep your money. Here's exactly how that works.

Monthly plan ($29/month)

Cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal (Dashboard → Manage in Stripe portal). Your access continues through the end of the current billing period and you won't be charged again.

If you'd like a refund for the most recent monthly charge, email support@getyapless.com within 7 days of the charge date and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. Refunds older than 7 days are reviewed case-by-case.

Founder Lifetime ($199 one-time)

The lifetime tier is a one-time purchase intended for users who already know they want long-term access. Because of the upfront discount it carries (against the equivalent monthly cost), our refund window is:

  • 14 days, full refund. If you decide Yapless isn't for you within 14 days of purchase, email us and we'll refund the full $199.
  • After 14 days, no refund. The lifetime grant remains active for as long as Yapless operates, and is non-refundable past the window.

Service failures

If Yapless is materially broken for you — recordings won't render, your voice clone fails to enroll, the Mac app crashes on startup, etc. — we'll refund whatever you've paid once we confirm we can't fix the issue for you, regardless of which plan you're on and regardless of how long ago you bought it.

How to request a refund

Email support@getyapless.com with:

  • The email address on your Yapless account
  • Approximate date of the charge (or the Stripe receipt number if you have it)
  • A short note on why — optional but appreciated

Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. It typically takes 5–10 business days for your bank to surface the refund. We'll send confirmation as soon as we process it on our end.

Account state after refund

When we issue a refund we also revoke the corresponding plan access. Your account stays — recordings and voice clone are preserved for 30 days so you can export anything you care about before they're purged. You can re-subscribe at any time without losing data within that window.

Disputes

If you're considering a chargeback, please email us first. Chargebacks cost us per-incident fees and rarely surface the actual issue any faster than support can — and we'd rather just refund you. We commit to responding to refund requests within one business day.
